The Crazy Store Magaliesberg Challenge 2016

13 August 

The annual Magaliesburg Challenge is back and trail runners who want to put their skills to the test will be heading to the the Van Gaalen Kaasmakerij cheese farm in Skeerpoort village.

Trails range from 12km to the 50km Guinea Pig race, equivalent to a full marathon and designed for professional and seasoned runners.

There’s also a Kiddies Dash for children. Tickets range from R350 to R695, depending on your choice of trail.

Benoni Craft Beer & Wine Festival

13 August

The Benoni Craft Beer & Wine Festival will bring together more than 15 South African craft breweries and wine distributors to show off their finest offerings at the Benoni Northerns Sports Club.

The festival will also have live music and a children’s play area and tickets cost from R50 to R150. Entry is free for children for under 13.

Ronan Keating - Time of My Life Tour

18 to 20 August

Award-winning Irish singer-songwriter Ronan Keating will be performing at the Teatro at Montecasino from 18 to 20 August.

Keating, who rose to fame in the 1990s with the boy band Boyzone, will perform songs from his latest album Time Of My Life, as well as hit singles from his solo career.  

Tickets range from R430 to R775.
