Every wondered what it would be like to have dinner while you’re suspended 60m from the ground? Well, wonder no more. Celestial Gift Experiences brings you Dinner in the sky at the Higher Ground restaurant at St Stithians College in Bryanston.

The dinner table is suspended by crane and can accommodate 22 people and three staff – a chef, waiter and entertainer. The experience takes 90 minutes and booking is essential. The dinner starts from R1 620 (excluding drinks) per couple.

Contact Odette Butcher on +27 (0)86 122 2284 or info@celestialgifts.co.za for more information.

Dinokeng family break

This is a family weekend getaway for four (two adults and two kids) at Dinokeng, starting at just R4 120.

On arrival at the Zenzele River Lodge, visitors can take a scenic walk around the area. Here you’ll experience the fresh outdoors, the lake – maybe you’ll spot a crocodile if you’re lucky – and explore the bird and plant species.

Following a scrumptious buffet breakfast on Saturday morning, why not kick off the day’s activities with a quad-bike safari, a visit to the Mystic Monkeys and Feathers Wildlife Park, or a game drive (not included in the package).
