Situated 45km north of Pretoria in the malaria-free Dinokeng area, Kwalata has access to 2000 hectares of prime bushveld that is home to more than 14 species of game with kudu, zebra, giraffe, blue wildebeest, impala and waterbuck being just some of the wildlife roaming the reserve area.

Kwalata boasts a number of accommodation options that include thatched chalets and log cabins, and state of the art game viewing vehicles.

Cultural tours are offered to the surrounding communities that include a visit to Mandela Village, a village established upon Nelson Mandela’s release from prison. Here visitors have an opportunity to interact with the local sangoma, watch traditional dancing, visit a school and day care centre and gain insights into everyday life in this community.

Kwalata is also available for conferences, teambuilding or functions.
