Revolution – New Year’s Open Air Music Festival 2017/18

Revolution – New Year’s Open Air Music Festival 2017/18 is a definite must if you want to welcome 2018 with a psytrance, progressive and electronic explosion of sound. This annual festival takes place at Hornbill Lodge in the Magaliesberg and you can look forward to a celebration of underground dance music from 30 December 2017 until 1 January 2018.

Featuring two international headline acts and over 40 musicians who will perform across two outdoor stages, there is also a swimming pool, food, art and clothing stalls.

H2O Full Moon Fever – NYE 2017

Prepare to welcome 2018 with a bang at H2O Full Moon Fever – NYE 2017.

Starting at 5pm at Wild Waters in Boksburg, Ekurhuleni, this event boasts four dance floors and over 25 DJs, including international Dutch sensations Tony Cha Cha and Boy Roeles. South African artists include Inverse Funk on the main stage, Vin Groovin on the hip-hop stage, and Bobstar performing on the Ultimate Club Classics floor.

Tickets are available at Nutickets South Africa and range from R99 to R400. Women can enter free before 8pm, but they must register at Nutickets to receive their complimentary ticket.

Chicago’s New Year’s Eve Masquerade Ball 2017

Chicago’s fourth New Year’s Eve Masquerade Ball is another great event to attend this year, and takes place at Chicago’s Piano Bar in Randpark Ridge, Johannesburg. The carnival-themed ball promises an evening of dancing, wining and dining.
