FNB JoburgArtFair

Visit the FNB JoburgArtFair, hosted at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg from 7 to 9 September 2018. 

The fair continues to be one of the continent's leading events in contemporary art, where artists, galleries, collectors, writers, thinkers and art lovers get to meet and interact. Tickets cost R125 for a single day, R250 for a weekend pass and R500 for the opening night (on 6 September).

Ekurhuleni Arts and Wine Festival 2018

7 and 8 September

The Ekurhuleni Arts and Wine Festival 2018 will be held at the Protea Hotel OR Tambo Airport in Kempton Park, Ekurhuleni, on 7 and 8 September 2018.  

Tickets cost between R150 (general admission) and R400 (VIP).

11th ICARD I IMWA Conference

10 to 14 September

Mining industry representatives, consultants, researchers and regulators from all around the world are coming to the CSIR International Conference Centre in Pretoria (Tshwane) for the 11th ICARDI IMWA Conference, from 10 to 14 September 2018.

Hundreds of experts will be in attendance with speeches and presentations that tie in with the theme of “Risk to Opportunity”, exchanging ideas and findings on the risks involved in managing or mitigating mine water, acid rock drainage, waste discharge systems, electrochemical treatment, the economics of mine water, and many other topics.
