Take the family to soak up the festive cheer and enjoy the beautiful lights during the last week of The Garden of Lights at Emperor's Palace in Kempton Park, Johannesburg. The last day is 8 January 2017 from 7pm until 10pm daily if the weather permits. Entrance is R25 with proceeds being donated to the Peermont Trust.

Toy Toy January 2017

6 January

Toy Toy January 2017 – a weekly underground music event – is making this year's return on 6 January 2017 at And in NewtownJohannesburg.

This week's instalment will have music offerings from Mvelo, Fabio, Jason Wallace and Craig Placid. It starts at 9pm and ends at 4am the next morning.

Tickets cost R60 online and R80 at the door.

The Bryanston Organic & Natural Market

7 January

The Bryanston Organic & Natural Market is set to return for the year on Saturday, 7 January 2017 in Bryanston, Johannesburg.

The market is known for its organic and locally produced artisanal goods, food and health products. There is also a range of goodies including jewellery, clothing, homeware and more available for sale.

It will be open from 9am until 3pm and entrance is free.

#35 Dezemba Beach Party

7 January

The festive season is still in full swing in Mamelodi East, Tshwane with #35 Dezemba Beach Party on 7 January 2017 at Hinterland Ave Park.

Boulevard Sundays

Boulevard Sundays is having this year's first Boulevard Sundays session on 8 January 2017 in Rivonia, Johannesburg.

This social affair starts at 3pm and ends at 2am the next morning. Go and enjoy the DJ line-up that includes Chrizz Beatz, DJ Nate and Kuberan Cooper.
