Whisky & Spirits Live festival

The festival will be celebrating its 16th anniversary in a big way by adding a range of other premium spirits (gin, rum, vodka and tequila) for your tasting pleasure.
You can also look forward to being surrounded by master distillers; meeting global brand ambassadors; attending specialist masterclasses; and chatting to industry experts who will be offering advice on how best to enjoy your whisky and spirits.
Tickets cost between R170 and R290. Doors to the festival open at 6pm.
TOPS at SPAR Bierfest
2 and 3 November
Bierfestarians can look forward to plenty of delicious food, fantastic music and lots of cold beer.
You will get the chance to participate in a range of traditional Oktoberfest-inspired games in between jugs of beer; enter a best-dressed contest; and enjoy loads more fantastic activities. All food and drinks at the festival can only be purchased using Bierfest “crowns”.
Ticket prices range from R175 per person for the Standard Bier Hall option to R1 022 for the Braumeister (V-VIP option).
Sharpeville Arts and Crafts Market
It’s the perfect platform for exhibitors to interact with their customers and expand the reach of their brands. So come along and enjoy the social atmosphere while showing support for proudly South African products.
The market is open from 11am to 6pm. Entrance is free.
Nappy Run 2018
Organised by the non-profit National Council of and for Persons with Disabilities (NCPD), the annual event aims to raise funds and awareness about the rights of children with disabilities, the challenges they face and the conditions many live under.
The race starts at 7.30am (registration opens at 6.30am).
Tickets are R100 for adults and R60 for children (including zoo entry and a goodie bag).
