Professional waiters dressed in black and white add to the ambiance. The famous gnocchi ai piacere; the pappardelle mafia with chilli, tomato and garlic; the slow-roasted pork loin main and fillet of beef with a choice of sauces play a major role in keeping patrons coming back for more.
All the vegetables and herbs used in the preparation of dishes are grown organically on the property and are also used at sister restaurant Veggie Greens, which focuses on vegetarian food. There is also a speciality chocolate shop, The Chocolate Tier, at the entrance to Casalinga which offers chocolate and champagne tastings.
The impressive wine list features South African, Italian and New Zealand reds and whites and there are vintage champagnes for celebratory occasions.
