African Pride Irene Country Lodge

The African Pride Irene Country Lodge is a haven of peace and tranquility nestled in a quiet corner of Gauteng, just minutes away from a range of attractions that include the Irene Dairy Farm, Smuts House Museum and The Irene Village Market.

The 74 spacious luxury accommodation rooms all have lakeside views and the finest quality amenities. Room are elegantly designed with African mahogany wood furniture complemented by rich textured fabrics in earthy tones that create a warm ambience, reminiscent of the comforts of an old countryside manor but reflecting a unique South African flavour. Rooms are en suite and each has a balcony or patio overlooking the lake.

The nine king-sized Deluxe Rooms are situated on the border of the Camdeboo Forest and open onto private patios with a view of the pristine green meadow while six Superior Loft Rooms are camouflaged by the lush foliage of the Camdeboo Forest.

At 140 square metres the Presidential Suite is the ultimate in luxury accommodation. Tucked into the forest the suite offers complete privacy. Guests staying in this suite also have an outside lounge and dining area that can seat up to 8 guests as well as an optional butler on standby 24/7.

The Irene Country Lodge has won numerous awards, including an Imvelo Award for responsible tourism and the Diamond Arrow Award for best executive lodge in Tshwane.

The African Pride Irene Country Lodge is ideal for family and corporate functions, and conferences. The Meadow Green Restaurant offers fine dining in the heart of the countryside. The Camdeboo Day Spa, which takes its name from the forest of White Stinkwood trees, is a haven of tranquility that offers specialised treatments that aim to induce relaxation. There are four treatment rooms, a gym, steam room, sauna, outdoor pool, heated jacuzzi and restaurant – so guests can spend the entire day being pampered without having to leave the spa.
