The Joburg Experience
Make sure you don’t miss one of the biggest events to hit Joburg this year – The Joburg Experience at the Rand Airport’s Sky Raiders on Saturday 2 April. With over 100 local and international DJs, an air show, 10 live acts, a laser show and beer gardens, as well as three massive dance floors, this will be one party to remember!
Artists and DJs who will take you through 12 hours of non-stop action include Die Antwoord, Brooklyn Bounce, aKING, Van Coke Kartel, Sasha Martinengo, Lyle Masters, Mark Stent and many more. Ticket prices range from R230 to R2 000.
Streets of Gold
Catch the vibrant new musical Streets of Gold at Gold Reef City's Lyric Theatre from 24 March to 2 April. Written by Alan Swerdlow, the play tells the dramatic story of a desperate fight for love and freedom in a world devoid of morals and plagued by political greed. It features an all-star cast, including Amor Vittone as the scheming temptress, Shaun V as the rebel leader and Samantha Peo as the heroine Cassandra.
The show starts at 20h30 on Friday and Saturday, and tickets range from R125 to R175 per person. Book at Computicket.
Market on Main
Enjoy the very best of food and design at the Market on Main, the new weekly market at Arts on Main which opens every Sunday as of 3 April. This event promises to become a “metropolis of culinary experts, ambitious food entrepreneurs and food lovers”, all the while promoting economic development.
