Africa Day celebrations in Gauteng’s Maboneng precinct

Gauteng residents and visitors are in for a treat this week when Africa Day celebrations kick off in Johannesburg’s Maboneng Precinct.

Although traditionally fêted on 25 May, this year’s Africa Day merriments will run from 19 to 26 May in Main Street and include music events, dance performances, drumming ensembles, art and craft exhibitions and food fairs.
