Haswell Guest House, built in 1913 and the original farmhouse of now-suburban Oaklands, has been beautifully restored and redecorated to provide attractive accommodation.

Food is home-cooked, and guests can enjoy four-course dinners or sumptuous brunches, indoors or out. There is also a bar where guests relax with a drink and enjoy some award-winning wines.

Guests can sample freshly made cakes and pastries, take in stunning African sunsets or warm up by a log fire in colder weather. In warmer weather visitors can unwind at the pool, and have lunch or dinner served at the pool house. A resident chef is on hand to attend to all culinary requirements, from traditional braais (barbeque) to Sunday roasts.

There are three bedrooms en suite, all with private patio. Rooms have air conditioning and heating, flat-screen TVs, DStv, Wi-Fi, hairdryers and tea/coffee stations.

A 24-hour team is on hand to make your stay a pleasure, whether booking a conference, planning a wedding or looking for a romantic getaway. Onward booking, sightseeing and airport transfers can also be arranged.
